Happy Birthday to Terry from Gayla

To say Happy Birthday is not enough. By Gayla Anderson 4/20/09

To just say Happy Birthday is not enough For God gave you as a gift to so many of us.
God knew He could use you for you care so much-
Through you He knew the lives He could touch-
You see through His eyes and touch with His touch-
No wonder you are loved by so many of us!
You deserve more than a cake, a gift, or stuff-
I know you, yes I do, and this of you, I know is true-
You want more of Jesus flowing from you-
Reaching a soul to see them set free-
This is what your birthday prayer to God would be-
So how do you say Happy Birthday
To someone who means so much?
To just say Happy Birthday is not enough!
I love you with all my Heart
Thank you for all your prayers you do
Love Gayla

Water's Edge Youth Glow Bowl 4/18/09

Our youth went glow bowling Friday night. We heard they had a lot of fun, but it seems Walker and John had trouble falling down. Jaclyn had one of the top scores even while bowling in flip flops.

Joseph House April 18, 2009

Pictures are of our semi backed up to Joseph House. The other photo is to give you an idea of the meat from our freezer. We were able to pass out sausage and chicken this weekend to families, and we will have meat next weekend for families also. We had 18 volunteers on Friday helping sack groceries. We had 16 volunteers on Saturday helping distribute food to inbound route, Carriage Crossing Assisted living, Coweta, Red Bird, Porter, and Boynton. We gave out 128 hot meals today. And we distributed groceries to 225 families which is about 70lbs of food per household.

Isn't God grand. One of the most precious memories today was Kaijah and Lathan at Carriage Crossing. Kaijah asked people if they had Jesus in their heart and Lathan prayed for them. They were so beautiful. Here is a picture a Kaijah and Lathan.

My Testimony by Schkayla

Well about five months ago my grandmother was a diabetic. Since September 23, my grandma had to stay with me and my family. Well my grandma came back to the doctor and I was with her and the doctor said that if my grandma does not take her insulin she will have serious diabetes. And so she did not take her medicine and she she was diagnosed with bad diabetes and she has been living with us. And so I had to give up my room for my grandma, and I would for my grandma. Plus she is my only grandma left. (I had five grandmas and I only knew three of them.) I never get upset to cry, but I really really, really cried like a river when my grandma was unconsciousness and I was going to check on her and I saw her in my bed and I was so mad cause I know that the devil was just trying to scare me and my family. So I went to my mom's bathroom and I stayed in there about ten minutes and I got on my knees and I prayed and I prayed and I prayed. (On April 5 I got saved and I got Jesus in my heart!) So when I got done praying I went to check if my grandmother was okay and about ten minutes later she awoke and I was thankful and I was so thankful that I jumped up and down and I said "The devil is not the ruler of me and the Bible says God does not give me the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. So I am thankful that my grandma is still with me.

My Testimony by Karrah

Okay, here is my testimony... One time my mom was looking for a car because my little sister Kaijah was being born soon. So we were looking at all the dealer shops in Oklahoma. And every time we would go to bed my parents, me and my siblings would go into my sisters room and we would pray that soon we would get a new car and that it would be at the right price and that it would be the right car. Then one of our friends were moving and they didn't want to take two cars. So in the middle of the night they brought their car to our house and parked it in our driveway and left. Then in the morning my mom went outside to go get the mail and when she went outside she saw the car sitting there in our driveway. So she went back inside and told my dad and then he went outside to see if she was telling the truth. So when he went out there and saw the car he went back inside and called one of our friends to see if they were the ones who gave us the car. And when they answered the phone, my dad asked if they gave us the car and they said they did. So my dad said thank you about two hundred times. And then when we started to drive it my parents realized that it was still too small. So when we got home they got on the internet to look for some cars and when they were looking they found one that they really liked. So when we were about to go to bed that night my parents told us that they found a car on the internet. So we got together and prayed that we would get that car that my parents found. So every night for two years we prayed that we would get that car and in two thousand and five, God blessed us with the money and we got the car.

Sutton's Testimony

I gave my heart to Jesus in church at Abundant Rain World Outreach Church. Pastor Doug asked if anyone wanted to have Jesus come into their heart. I said, "yes."

My Testimony by Emerson

I was about five when I got saved and after I got saved I wanted to read the Bible all the time and when we got home my mom read this verse 2 Corinthians 5:17 which it says "If anyone belongs to Christ then he is made new. The old things have gone everything is made new." And we didn't know the verse would say that! God is so amazing. Okay now to my testimony. I'm going to be talking about my Papa Bob. He was in a motor cycle wreck and he told us when he was flying in the air, he said he saw an angel and the angel asked him if he beleives in God and he said, "Yes." If he didn't he would have crashed into a sign and die instantly, but he said, "yes" and the angel moved him up just a little and missed the sign and he pushed through it. And me and my whole family were in fear, but God told us to not be afraid and he told us what fear could mean. F for false, E for evidence, and A for appears, and R for real. So it says, False Evidence Appears Real. So when I heard that I had faith the whole way through and he died. Then God told me, "why are you crying, he is with me now, rejoice, rejoice." And after that we needed God in our life, so God told my step dad to go to Pastor Rons church and I have loved it here ever since we came.

My Testimony by Teighan

I don't remember every detail on how I accepted Christ, but I remember sitting in church and the children's pastor asked everyone that hadn't accepted Christ to come to the front, so I did and he started talking to me about how Jesus died on the cross for our sins and how we should want to lead people to Christ. So when service was out I ran to my dad and told him I accepted Christ and he was all excited and when we got home he told me to sit down, so I did. My dad started to talk about how Adam and Eve got separated from God and how God created the heaven and the earth and he just really wanted to make sure that I know Jesus and then my mom got done cooking so she came in with dinner and we all ate. Then me and my dad continued to talk for a little longer and then my mom came and sat down and I started talking to her about God and she said, we should get a Bible and write the date, so we did. And the date was January 30th 2007 and I was six yars old. And then I started to see so many things that God is doing for us like the time when my mom wrecked her car and we needed another one. So we prayed and prayed, and then God blessed us with a brand new white Suburban and that is something Jesus did for me.

Terry on San Blas

God poured out his spirit upon all of us in the San Blas Islands. I thank God for being called to the nations, and for the opportunity to share (giving and receiving) the love of Christ with the Kuna people, and with all people around the world.

This is a picture of me and Manuel. We first met in 2006 and again in 2009. He is my divine appointment from God. I pray for him daily. He is now 15 years old. During this trip, Manuel asked me for a leadership booklet because he wanted to participate in the meeting, but we ran out of the books and I couldn’t give him one. But I did have another book with me. It was my personal Spanish/English Bible and I gave it to him, and told him I wanted to see him preaching out of it when I come back..

I love the Kuna people. They are beautiful and amazing. It was honor to impart to their leadership, and joy to be with their children.

I thank God for the entire American & Kuna leadership team. They are ALL a blessing and highly anointed of God.

Catro on San Blas

First of all I am very thankful for the opportunity to go to San Blas Islands and be a part of all that took place.

I believe that all that was planted will have long term significance in the kingdom of God for Panama and beyond. This was an amazing trip.

It was a blessing to see the enthusiasm in worship that the Kuna people exhibit. Although living conditions are difficult the Kuna people show a real love for one another, other people and for God.

I am left amazed at their faithfulness as I remember taking a picture of a young pastor standing next to his church. It was nothing but a standing door, no walls, a small 4x4 patch of roof, wooden, planks for benches, and a floor that had partially eroded out to sea. Yet 35 members faithfully attend every Sunday. They taught me something about having supernatural joy in the midst of preserving.

Cyndi on San Blas

11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future
12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you
13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart Jeremiah 29:11-13

Anytime you have plans for a missions trip you can expect events and obstacles to be in your way. They may become challenges to overcome. However, the Lord will provide and send you across the world to preach the “Good News.”

He gives you a heart for His people, so it’s easy to love your neighbor.

Even if the trip consist of a little bitty boat and an overwhelming sea. San Blas is beautiful and has God’s creation written from the crystal clear blue sea to the sparkling, brilliant stars. For Jesus is my Bright and Morning Star! Rev 22:16

I know that I know the Lord will never leave me nor forsake any of His people! Thank you for giving me an opportunity to share with Kuna Yala of Panama.

Mike on San Blas

The mission trip to Panama was the first missions trip I have ever been on. I wasn’t sure what I would find on this trip, but I was truly excited.

What I found was my God is the same in any language, culture, conditions or educational status.

I saw a people stand in grass huts believing for the healing, guidance, mercy, grace and love that I search for in my air conditioned house in Tulsa.

I prayed with the people, for people, fed people, got fed, did drama’s, led my first altar call, had the best birthday ever, spoke to the pastors about God’s love and truly saw the love of Christ in action.

I went looking for God to move in the Indians of San Blas. While I was looking for that, God moved in me.

Jackie on San Blas

I want to thank all the people who sowed seed for me to return back to the islands for a second time. This trip was life changing for many, not just the Kuna Indians that live on the islands, but for the team as well.

I went on this trip out of desire and obedience to my Lord and Savior. I went expecting to impart to the Kuna Indians, that the Lord loves them and each of their families, which are not just ordinary Indians, but their elders and their chiefs (each island has their own chief) who have believed from generation to generation on witchdoctors, and their witchcraft, for healing, prosperity, words of wisdom and council.

I believe that the young and old will receive salvation because of the impartation that the Abundant Rain Ministries Team left with the Pastors and the Leadership that we touched.

I believe that the Holy Spirit that is with them and is stirring up the Gifts of the Spirit inside each and every Kuna Indian there. God sent this team for a purpose, and we followed God’s plan.

Heath & Kim on San Blas

We had an awesome trip to the San Blas Islands

It was a little more challenging this time. The leadership conference and children’s church gave us a good stretching.

In the hotel lobby at Panama City John started playing the piano. We all gathered around and began praising the Lord. The power of God was with us.

Heath and I on Sunday morning got to do children’s church. You would think “Oh this is no big deal!” But it definitely was hard.

For us to be able to get up in front of all those children, and play games, do the memory verse, and teach them the Word of God was a blessing. We got to put into effect what we have been doing at Abundant Rain children’s church in another country.

It was a great experience and a lot of fun.

We did a children’s service and we gave an altar call at every island we went to from Sunday to Wednesday. Every time we had a response and lead them to salvation. We know those children that sat there and the teens and parents that stood in the background heard the Word of God and we believe we planted a seed inside their lives.

It was all worth it.
